Description
This notice announces the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order to H3D Inc. for the procurement of Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) gamma-ray detectors. These detectors are required to develop Vehicle-Mounted Radiation Detection Systems (VMRDS). The award was made on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, as the contractor was determined to be the only source capable of manufacturing a product that meets the Governments essential technical requirements.
