Morphine Sulfate Solution

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Morphine Sulfate Solution. Procurement details follow. Morphine Sulfate 2MG/ML and 4MG/ML Injection Syringe and 2MG/ML and 10MG/ML Intravenous Syringe in Packs of 10. Morphine Sulfate 2MG/ML, 4MG/ML, and 10MG/ML Injection Solution Vial and 4MG/ML and 10MG/ML Intravenous Solution Vial in Boxes of 25. Competition will be restricted to domestic sources (vendors providing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Final Dosage Forms (FDF) manufactured domestically), the procurement will be competed among all qualified domestic manufacturers. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one-year base and four one-year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of War (DoW), Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons customers through the DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The annual usage estimates will be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the solicitation. This is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR part 12.
