PA Northern Plains ARS compact wheel loader

This is a pre-solicitation notice prepared in accordance with RFO FAR 5.1 and satisfies the posting requirement under RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2)(i). The Government intends to solicit quotations directly from suppliers using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A formal solicitation will NOT be posted publicly. Quotes will be requested directly from selected suppliers. This notice is for information purposes only. It is NOT a request for quotations. This acquisition will be a Small Business Set-Aside. The Government will use a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation approach under applicable commercial-product and simplified-acquisition procedures. The Government requires one new compact wheel loader, delivered fully operational and suitable for earth-moving and excavating operations. The solicitation identifies the Wacker WL250 as a known product that meets the Government’s requirements. Brand-name-or-equal products are anticipated to be acceptable, provided the offered product meets or exceeds all stated salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics. Delivery will be FOB Destination no later than December 31, 2026. Delivery location: PA Northern Plains Agricultural Research Service 1500 North Central Avenue Sidney, Montana 59270 The quoted equipment will include the manufacturer’s standard commercial warranty. Quoters will be required to identify an OEM-authorized warranty repair facility located within 100 miles of Sidney, Montana. Important: This notice is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation, solicit any particular vendor, or award a contract. The Government reserves the right to modify the requirement, issue a solicitation using a different procedure, cancel the planned acquisition, or determine that another acquisition strategy is in the best interest of the Government.
