Transportation Services in Support of U.S. Secret Service Protective Operations – Singapore

This contract action was not awarded competitively under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) due to urgent operational and security requirements in support of the U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protective Division for a protective assignment in Singapore. Competition was not practicable given the short notice of the requirement, limited vendor capacity, and security and host nation restrictions during the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix. The contract was awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis to C & P Rent-A-Car Pte Ltd, and the Contracting Officer determined the pricing to be fair and reasonable under the circumstances.
