A cost-plus-fixed-fee contract was competitively awarded to Computational Physics, Inc. for R&D efforts for development and application of new and existing techniques for Remote Sensing for one 12-month base period and four 12-month options. The base period contract value is $5,472,217.80. The contract total if all options are exercised is $28,725,017.15. The rationale for awarding a CPFF rather than fixed-price contract is due to the requirements not being defined enough for a fixed price contract.
